Hogging the camera since the age of 2, I knew musical theatre was for me! I auditioned for my first show, 101 Dalmatians: Kids, when I was 9, and have been performing ever since. Over the years, some favorite productions include Les Miserables, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Into the Woods, and The Phantom of the Opera. In college, I hope to continue acting and singing as well as creating original works and putting them up for audiences other than just my family -- haha. I can't thank Kathy enough for everything she's taught me and all of her support! Congratulations, Jonah!!!

Spotlight on Eva Milligan:
Hi I’m Eva! I’m currently a senior at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy and I’ve loved singing for as long as I can remember. I did my first musical when I was nine and I played Marta in the Sound of Music. After this, I was immediately drawn to all things theatre. Since then I’ve been in many different productions, but some of my favorites include Diana in Inspiring Arts Production of Anne of Green Gables, Earthworm in CHCA’s James and the Giant Peach, and Ethel McCormack in CHCA’s Footloose. I’m also currently playing Belle in Beauty and the Beast this March at CHCA! My whole family loves to sing so it’s no surprise that it’s my passion as well. My dad works at Cincinnati Opera so I grew up admiring the singers there every summer. I’m also hoping to pursue something theatre related in college and beyond. I’m so grateful to have a supportive and musical family, and teachers such as Kathy Cammett who push me to be the best singer I can be! Eva also received an Honorable Mention at Ohio NATS 2020, Music Theater Congratulations, Eva! I’m 16 and a sophomore at Indian Hill High School. When I was 11, I starred in Aladdin and this sparked my passion for singing and theatre in general. Singing is in my blood. My Dad’s mom was a professional club singer and my dad loves to sing too.
My favorite part of singing is just doing it! I love expressing myself through my voice -- most of the time without any words even being put to it. The best way to get better at singing, believe it or not, is to sing. First figure out how your voice sounds good and then practice getting there consistently. I don’t know what my future will hold but I know whatever I do, I’ll continue to sing. Congratulations, Joseph!!!
As we think about goals for next year, this book can help you get better at anything. It is the first suggested reading material for anyone in my studio...... Dan Coyle's book, The Talent Code
