Group Voice Classes (Online)
Group classes model the very earliest teaching models of voice training. Groups meet and work vocal technique together, speeding learning and growth through cooperative learning. Classes are limited to four students and are ideal for those who wish to learn to sing while easing performance anxieties.

These classes are specifically aimed at the understanding and performance of various styles. An in-depth exploration of the musical and/or technical demands of a specific genre.

Style Class I – Acting - Stage vs. Film

Sundays, 3 - 4 PM EDT
September 25, October 2, 16, and 23 (no class October 9)
A comparison of acting techniques regarding facial expressions and gestures, voice and volume, preparation and performance. Bring your own age-appropriate monologues to work on, one from a movie script and one from a play or musical. Class size limited

This class will focus on the historical and vocal traditions behind classic vs contemporary acting. We will discuss and compare the acting techniques emphasizing style of gestures, action, and speech. Bring your own age-appropriate monologues to work on, one from a play prior to 1900 and another a play or musical after 1900. Class size limited
