PAYMENTS
Payment for private lessons is due at the time of the lesson, unless you have paid in advance. Payment for vocal assessments, courses, workshops and other events requiring registration is due in advance.
Payments can be made in the following ways:
- By credit or debit card by calling us at 302.559.6469
- Via your PayPal account. Send payment to: billing@goldenvoicestudio.com
- At lessons, please make checks payable to Kathy Cammett.
We can also set up automatic payments through Wells Fargo Bank. It’s safe, secure, convenient, and it sure beats writing all those checks! Contact us for more information and to obtain the required paperwork.
CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
You must notify us of cancellations at least ONE DAY IN ADVANCE. You must notify us by 7:00 pm the evening before the scheduled lesson, assessment, class or workshop in order for it to qualify as one day.
If a class, workshop, or other event requiring advance registration must be missed and you have given advance notice as described above, a full refund can be provided. No refunds will be given for any session missed after the first day of the even.
If you do not show up for your assessment or lesson or if you have to cancel on the same day - even for illness - you will be charged for the time slot. The mantra of our industry is, "the show must go on" which means that If you are in a performance, you cannot take a night off because you have a sore throat, a cold, or a fever. If in a recording studio, you still have to pay for the time you booked even if you did not use it. It is a very standard practice to require payment for same-day cancellations or no-shows.
INCLEMENT WEATHER / SCHOOL ABSENCES
If school is cancelled or delayed, we will continue with our regular schedule unless the building is closed. If that is the case, we notify you by email.
If there is inclement weather and you feel you cannot safely attend your lesson, please let us know immediately so that we can reschedule. Phone lessons are also available.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
We highly recommend that you bring a recording device and cassette tape to your lessons— you’d be surprised how much you will learn by listening to yourself!
